On Friday, we answered 3 questions on "Bonny Barbara Allan" (they're on my blog from Thursday). Find the answers on page 105 on the blurb on English and Scottish ballads. We also listened to Dolly Parton's and Joan Baez's versions of the song.
Then, we read the Medieval romance, "Sir Gawain and the Green Knight". Be sure to read page 89. Then, do a question and quote on the romance for Monday.
I also gave a run down of what will be on the test on Tuesday:
- 5 vocab words
- 5 quotes from "The Prologue"
- 10 multiple choice questions (Chaucer, Bonny Barbara, Gawain)
- 4 short answer questions (5 marks each).
- 1 longer answer (10 marks)
Also go over the most important aspects of Beowulf as one question will ask you about it in relation to the other works.
