English 11

Tonight, answer the questions to Chapter Three in full sentences.  Also, read another 15 pages (that should be your daily task until you finish the book).

Your Journal #6 topic today was...
What frightened you when you were a child?  Why do you think childhood fears are universal?

What's coming up in English:

Tomorrow, you will have 15 minutes to share your vocabulary words with your vocab partners.  You will have time to read and do various assignments in silence as others in your class will be completing work they missed in the last three days of school.

On Monday, April 8th, you will have a quiz on Chapters 2-4.  You will also have to come with your homework completed.
On Wednesday, you will have a vocabulary quiz on the first column of words.
On Friday, April 12, I'll take in your six journals.  I'll give you a mark for completion of all of them (to my satisfaction - ask me if you have questions).  Then, I'll give you a mark for the one journal topic you have chosen to develop into a one-page composition (150-200 words typed or neatly written).  Journals 5 and 6 will be easy to develop.  See me about how to develop the other journal topics into longer compositions.
